CAO Service Changes Due to the State of Emergency

Due to the current State of Emergency throughout the State of Ohio and Lawrence County, many of our services have temporarily changed how they are able to serve their clients. See the list below for how each department and/or service has modified how they are currently serving clients.

ILCAO One-Stop Center

WIOA, HEAP, WIC, and One-Stop Resource Center

The Ohio Means Jobs – Lawrence County program and the One-Stop Center are currently opperating with limited access to the public at this time. The services operating in the One-Stop Center can be reached through email or by calling the ILCAO Help Hotline at 888-217-2202.

One-Stop operating hours are Monday thru Friday 8-4:30 pm. (Anyone entering the building will be screened for temperature and asked a few questions to help ensure the health and safety of others inside the building.)

HEAP and WIOA are asking that documents be put in the dropbox on the outside of the front door on the 3rd Street side at the Handicap ramp.

We are only seeing clients that need access to the computers in the resource room (school assignments, unemployment, housing etc.).

Family Medical Centers

To our Patients:  We do not want you to avoid needed care during this difficult time.  Here is some information on how we are handling your healthcare needs:

For our Pediatric Practices:  Our offices are open to see your child as usual.  We ask that you call the office first so that our staff can adequately plan for your visit and also ask that only one parent accompany your child(ren).  Before entering our facilities all individuals will have their temperatures checked.  Please don’t hesitate to call our offices with any questions or concerns.  We are committed to caring for your family throughout this difficult time. 

For our Dental patients:  Our dental practices are continuing to follow all Ohio Department of Health and CDC guidelines for when we can resume full dental services.  We are permitted to offer emergency care.  If you develop a dental problem please don’t hesitate to call us to see how we can best help you.  We are committed to caring for your family throughout this difficult time and will promptly inform you when we are able to offer full dental care. 

For our Family Practice patients:  Our offices are open to care for you as usual.  Please call before you come to the office so we can plan for your visit. If you are ill we will assess and treat you in your car.  If it is determined you are at risk for Corona Virus you will be referred for testing.   For your routine care, we are available in our offices but we are also offering your visit by telehealth.  We do not want you to avoid care during this difficult time.  Before entering our facilities all individuals will have their temperatures checked.  We also ask that you bring no visitor with you unless absolutely necessary for your care.   We are committed to caring for your family throughout this difficult time.

For our Behavioral Health patients: We are asking that you sign up for telehealth services. This will allow you to continue with your regular counseling sessions from home. Our offices are open to care for you if you do not have access to telehealth services. If you have access, but are having trouble getting logged on, we will be happy to assist you. Please call before you come to the office so we can plan for your visit.  We do not want you to avoid care during this difficult time.  Before entering our facilities all individuals will have their temperatures checked.  We also ask that you bring no visitor with you unless absolutely necessary for your care.  We are committed to your care throughout this difficult time.

Early Childhood Academy – Head Start

The Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy and Head Start Program are currently closed to the public with many employees and educators working remotely with families during this time. The Early Childhood Academy is still operating during regular business hours, and are reachable by phone or email.
