Family Medical Centers offers a wide variety of services including primary family care, pediatrics, dentistry, and behavioral health.
The Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy and Head Start provides comprehensive early childhood services.
The OhioMeansJobs – Lawrence County One Stop Center provides job seekers with the high-quality training and supportive services they need to get good jobs and stay employed

The ILCAO Board of Directors meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at noon. These meetings are currently conducted at the ILCAO One-Stop Center – 120 N 3rd ST Ironton, Ohio.

The Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization employees over 400 people in our community, across many departments, to ensure residents who seek to improve their lives have access to the best resources available.
Community Development provides a vast array of services including economic development, project administration, and grant writing.
Community Services oversees the Community Services Block Grant for Lawrence County.
The Family Guidance Center offers behavioral health services from family therapy to addiction recovery counseling. New in 2017, the Family Guidance services have expanded access to the Family Medical Centers.
Healthcare for the Homeless and the Organizational Representative Payee Service help the vulnerable in our region access much needed medical care and assistance with managing government benefits.
Housing for the Homeless help the vulnerable in our region find community and housing resources for homeless individuals.
Family Medical Centers is a system of primary health care clinics serving Lawrence County, Ohio. Doctors, Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, and Dentists provide high quality care regardless of insurance.
The Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy provides early education and Head Start programs to children in our area with facilities reaching from Ironton, Ohio to Proctorville, Ohio.
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), supplements utility payments for fixed/low income seniors and families at risk of losing basic utility services during critical times throughout the year.
Home Weatherization Assistance is a community maintenance service that sends skilled professionals to insulate poorly insulated homes and repair HVAC units to improve poor living conditions.
The Housing Management Department provides well-maintained quality rental housing for fixed/low income seniors and families on a federal income-based rental fee model.
The OhioMeansJobs – Lawrence County One-Stop Center is the starting point for many CAO services and offers case managers to individuals in need. It is the home to OhioMeansJobs and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
The Senior Services Department provides meals, activities, and clean, safe, facilities for Lawrence County Seniors to socialize, exercise, create, and engage with our community.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Department provides nutritious foods, supplements, education, and medical referrals for low-income pregnant women and children under 5 years old.
The Transportation Department runs handicap accessible public shuttles and on-demand vans for transporting the general public, seniors, and people with disabilities to locations throughout the county.
