STAFF QUALIFICATIONS
The Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy exceeds the standards established by both the state and federal mandates. Credentials obtained by teaching staff include Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Associate’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education. Administrative staff hold degrees and/or certifications in Early Childhood Education or related fields of study.
LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION
LCECA sites are accredited or in the process of obtaining accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children and Ohio Step Up to Quality Program. These are the highest accreditations currently available for pre-school programs. All eleven sites are 5 star rated by the State of Ohio Rating System.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy offers a variety of trainings such as:
Child Development Associate (CDA) – First Aid – CPR
Child Guidance – Infant Care – School Bus Driver (CDL)
Child Abuse- Communicable Disease, Preschool/Computer Literacy
